June 22-July 1, 2008.
Volunteer 16 hours or more and get into the U.S. Women's Open 2008 for FREE!!! Volunteer 4-12 hours and get a day pass! RAM is managing the volunteer program for the first-ever ZERO WASTE U.S. Women's Open and we are looking for 250 volunteers to help make it happen!
Volunteer for the U.S. Women's Open Ecology Team and help with the recycling and composting collection efforts.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
6:00 am - 10:00 am 
9:45 am - 1:45 pm 
1:30 pm - 5:30 pm 
5:15 pm - 9:15 pm 

Duties for volunteers will include: collect compostables and recyclables from their collection bins throughout the course and place new liners in the bins. Also picking up any materials that happen to be on the ground and putting them into the proper collection bins. There may be other tasks as assigned.

Message in a Bottle recycling program underway. Since April 2007, our new away from home recycling program has collected over 150,000 pounds of plastic for recycling. The program collects plastic bottles, cans and plastic shrink wrap and bags. The bottles are recycled into new carpet and the shrink wrap and bags are recycled into TREX decking. All you have to do is fill up the box with your used ink jet cartridges and tape the box shut and mail (postage already paid)! Your used ink jets will be recycled by a legitimate ink jet recycler in the U.S.A.

COMPOST WORMS FOR SALE NOW! You've heard of them, now have your own red wigglers to compost your food waste at home. RAM's worm starter kits were sold out at the Living Green Expo, however RAM is selling compost worms in 1 or 2 pound orders through our worm supplier. Cost is $50 plus 6.5% sales tax per pound. Price includes shipping and handling costs.
