CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS
at the 24th Annual RAM/SWANA Conference
October 14th & 15th, 2019
Minneapolis Marriott Northwest
Brooklyn Park, Minnesota

The Recycling Association of Minnesota and the Solid Waste Association of North America, Land of Lakes Chapter, have hosted the very successful and well attended RAM/SWANA conference for twenty three years and we are planning year 24! More than 400 attendees are expected at the 2019 two-day conference.

If you would like to introduce the results of your research or recent project to a broad regional audience, or are looking for an opportunity to present your work to an audience of solid waste and recycling professionals from a five state area and beyond, we would like to hear from you!

The conference organizing committee invites speakers to submit abstracts for presentations within the following conference topics (choose one):

* Recycling
* Solid Waste
* Organics Recycling
* Sustainability
*Hazardous Waste Management
*Environmental Justice
*Industry Related Trends
Please limit submissions to ONE per speaker. Preference given to presentations qualifying for Continuing Education Credits for MPCA Type II/III Landfill Operator Certification and Registered Sanitarians.

Additional Information

As you prepare your proposal, it should be designed for seasoned professionals. Target your presentation to the potential audience as well as the reviewers. Sales presentations not accepted.

In recognition of speaker preparation and participation, the presenter’s conference registration fee for the day of the presentation is waived. There is only one fully waived fee for session speakers. For multi-authored presentations, the additional presenters will have reduced registration fees which will not include meals.

Proposals will be reviewed by the RAM/SWANA
Conference Committee and speakers will be notified the week of July 1, 2019.
