Brita Sailer, RAM’s Executive Director, will be moderating the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce next Public Affairs Series Event titled Sustainable Specialties And Reusing Resources: The Business Of Recycling, taking place on April 12, 2017

Hear from a panel of women in the recycling industry on their business models (how do they make money by recycling?) and the importance of sustainability. Jennifer Cavalier, Day Training and Habilitation Work & Recycling Manager for ProAct, Amanda LaGrange, CEO of TechDump/TechDiscounts and Devi James, Owner and General Manager of Scrapbusters will give their insight on running recycling businesses. To borrow from a former Public Affairs Series speaker, “your feel good moment from recycling a water bottle means nothing if there is not a market to back it up.”
